Weekly Meal Plan (1/16/12-1/22/12)



It is weekly meal plan time, again. I’m kind of excited about the meal plan this week, especially the dinners. They sound amazing even to my own ears! Plus, they are super easy, except maybe the biscuits on Saturday. I usually have my brother-in-law make them as I have not “mastered” biscuits, yet. We’ll see how I do. Although if he is here on Saturday, I will ask him to make them!



Monday (1/16/12):
Breakfast-Cinnamon Applesauce Bread and Cuties
Lunch- Leftovers (stew/soup)
Dinner- Brined Chicken Breast w/Quinoa and Veggies (double batch for LO)

Tuesday (1/17/12):
Breakfast-Oatmeal and Spelt Toast
Lunch- Leftovers Chicken and Quinoa
Dinner- French Dip over Mashed Potatoes

Wednesday (1/18/12):
Breakfast-Waffles and Little Smokies
Lunch- Salmon Salad on Rice Cakes and Chips
Dinner- LOs

Thursday (1/19/12):
Breakfast-Cereal (due to my swim class)
Lunch- BLTs on Rice Cakes
Dinner- Beef and Broccoli w/Stir fry and Brown Rice

Friday (1/20/12):
Breakfast-Potatoes, Eggs, Bacon
Lunch- Hummus and Chips
Dinner- Deluxe Nachos

Saturday (1/21/12):
Breakfast-Oatmeal and Spelt Toast
Lunch- LO
Dinner-Hamburger Sausage and Biscuits

Sunday (1/22/12):
Breakfast-Muffins or Breakfast Cookies
Lunch-LO breakfast
Dinner-Pasta E Fagoli w/Toast


Baking List: Cinnamon Applesauce Bread
Muffins
Breakfast Cookies
Biscuits
Spelt Honey Graham Crackers/Cookies

I hope you all have a great week! I’m open to ideas for dinners as I need some for next week because we are kind of tired of the “same old thing.”
